About Us

In 2012 Martin Charlesworth, a church leader in the UK for many years, had the idea of creating an online Bible teaching resource to support discipleship and mission in the developing world.  It is aimed specifically for those using English as a second language who may also lack sufficient Bible teaching.  

In the first phase Word Online prepared and presented a comprehensive 'Life of Jesus' in 184 episodes which covered all four Gospels, and a study of the book of Acts, "The Spreading Flame'. Studies of other New Testament books are being added gradually, beginnng with Paul's letters to Romans and Galatians.  This material is now available in video or audio format on this website, or via our web-based App.

‘Word Online’ works in partnership with the Hulbert Enterprises Ltd, based in the UK. Hulbert Enterprises supports our website and the production of new materials. Further video teaching series from the Bible are planned.
