Chris, from Nigeria, is one of those people and he shared these thoughts with us:
1. How many episodes have you used so far?
I have managed to listen to 10 series, from series 1 -10, I am just going through series 11 now (Jesus in Jerusalem).
2. How do you access the material - podcast, website, etc?
I listen through the podcast app on my laptop, or mobile phone when out and about.
3. Do you only listen, or do you read the transcript or use the study questions, etc?
So far, I only listen to the podcast, as I find it easier whilst I'm out on a walk, driving long distances or just doing some work at home
4. Do you find it easy to use?
I find it incredibly simple and easy to use. The application at the end of each episode really helps
5. Does this form part of your devotional life, or for study?
I would say I use this as a form of study. It is an easily accessible tool that helps me learn and understand
6. What did you particularly find helpful or enjoyable?
The most helpful part for me using Word Online is the very clear speech and explanation, I find I am able to understand and take in more information with Martin's way of teaching and unpacking the various stories and scenarios.
Another really helpful part of the podcast is having the application part at the end, where Martin reflects on what we can learn from the scripture. This helps me understand more practically how to apply the teachings in my own contexts today.
7. Do you have any criticisms that would be helpful?
I have not had any time to criticise the podcast. I mostly find it very helpful and enjoy listening, I think for the most part I have no criticisms at the moment
8. Is your first language English? If not, how did you find the language?
Yes.
